JOURNEY WITHIN THE JOURNEY |

Setting out to achieve your goals isn’t so much about all the doing as it is about the becoming—becoming the YOU you were always meant to be: the authentic you that you have carried around deep inside you from the moment you arrived on this planet, the wise you that incessantly whispered reminders of your dreams to you during quiet moments in the hopes that you would hear, the bold you that eventually shouted at you when you refused to pay attention, the brave you that finally dared to lead you to take action, and, above all, the loving you that never stopped believing in you and your ability to live meaningfully and wholly. You generate the results you think you deserve, so, at this very moment, what do you believe you can have, be, or do? It really is all up to you. In order to have what it is you want, YOU must allow yourself to have it. It doesn’t matter what someone else does or how he or she acts toward you. You are the only person who can get in your way by giving away your personal power when you do not see yourself as having the ability to act from the authentic you. Take back your personal power, join with your true Source, give yourself all the love, support, and approval you are seeking, live inside the authentic you and act accordingly. You may not always know exactly where you are going or what you will do when you get there, but do not let that stop you. There is traveling for the sake of reaching a specific destination, and there is traveling for the sake of discovery. When things get confusing or appear to be at their worst, it always means there is a huge opportunity trying to make itself known to you. Follow your instincts. Do you now know what an important part of this big world you actually are? By becoming everything you were meant to be, you give others the hope and courage they need to live their individual dreams, and the whole world benefits from all those unique dreams being fulfilled. Remember, you are never alone. The Loving Power that runs our universe causes the sun to come up every morning just for you. Take a stand for what you want, be willing to be responsible for your choices, and go! You are on the greatest journey of your life. Achieving your life goals requires similar soul searching. As you think about your goals, take a few minutes to answer the following questions: What has your still, small voice inside been trying to tell you? Are you willing to listen to it now and to take yourself and your dreams seriously? What are the characteristics of the YOU you’ve traveled so far to become? Which one of your goals would most significantly support your desire to develop those characteristics? Do you need to set up some new boundaries to uphold the authentic you? What are they? Finally, how will it change your life if you live and act from loving authenticity? Are we there yet? Yes, we’re there at last! |
